Condition

Here’s a fascinating piece of early 1970s vocal jazz that often flies under the radar – Liza Minnelli’s ambitious “Foursider” from A&M Records. This 1970 release came at a pivotal moment in Minnelli’s career, just as she was establishing herself as a serious recording artist beyond her theatrical work and famous lineage. The album showcases her remarkable vocal range across jazz standards, contemporary pop, and cabaret-style numbers, all arranged with the sophisticated production values A&M was known for during their golden period.
