ABoneCroneDrone: CD

ABoneCroneDroneisSheila Chandras most radicallyexperimental solo voicework and the closing chapterof her trilogy of albums forReal World.

These re-issues provide a chance for listeners to (re)discover the work of Shelia Chandra, one of the most original and trailblazing artists of her generation.

Six tracks of pure voice anddrone, playing as a seamlesssuite of encompassingambience and whisperedvocals hinting at the worldswithin them,ABoneCroneDronegivesvoice to Chandras creativeworld, viewedthrough theharmonics of the drone. It isa listening experience thatattunes us not only to themusic contained within therecord but to the music of theworldaround us. A startlinglyoriginal examination of theusually taken-for-granteddrone itself.
