Guitarist, sonic explorer & Wilco bandmember Nels Cline presents Consentrik Quartet, the eponymous debut recording by his newest band which features Ingrid Laubrock on saxophones, Chris Lightcap on bass & Tom Rainey on drums. By turns swinging, grooving, bracing, mesmeric & quietly stunning, Clines 4th Blue Note album spotlights the ensembles profound chemistry as well as Clines versatility as both a player & a writer with 12 evocative soundscapes.
