Roy Payne’s *Goofy Newfie* is a Canadian folk and comedy album rooted in the musical traditions of Newfoundland, featuring the humor and storytelling style characteristic of the region’s folk culture. The release date is unclear, but it appears to be a mid-to-late twentieth century Canadian pressing on the Paragon label.
